K-8 curriculum with thematic units for each grade level and Alaska science stories. Grade 7 theme of "Ocean in Motion" focuses on tides and Alaska and global current patterns. Grade 8 theme of "Changing Ecosystems" focuses on environmental change, particularly the effects of climate change (e.g., melting sea ice and glaciers, Bering Sea ecosystem) and methods of interviewing community members and elders about long-term observations and changes in the local environment. Curriculum framework and Inquiry-based lesson plans about the Arctic climate supplemented by videos of scientist mentor lectures about science topics and the "how to" of teaching various aspects of scientific inquiry, and an interactive multimedia primer for climate change concepts.
The primer and mentor lectures are available online or can be ordered on a DVD.

Current and on-going ocean climate change research in the Bering Sea. Research cruises are featured in real-time through scientist and teacher blogs, podcasts, video clips, and images. Cruise locations and observations are linked to GoogleEarth.

Online magazine for K-5 teachers integrating science, literacy, and the polar regions. Each issue includes science concepts, literacy strategies, common misconceptions and how to avoid them, researcher stories, and standards-based lesson plans in science and other disciplines. Past topics are archived and include water, ice, and snow; weather and climate: from home to the Poles; energy and the Poles, Polar patterns, day, night, and the seasons; Arctic and Antarctic birds, and polar mammals. Online stories can be downloaded as text, with full-color illustrations, or online narration at several reading levels.
